Kung Fu cult Master: The continuation of the story
The Kung Fu Cult Master story is based on a famous novel,"Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaughter Sabre" (Yi Tien To Long), written by Jin Young(Louis Cha).
He is a very famous writer in H.K.He also wrote Swordsman. I am his fan and have read most if not all of his novels, translated into my primary language , Thai.
This is just a summary of the story. Since English is my foreign language, I hope that there will be a person , who master both Chinese and English, translating the whole story into English. So everyone can share these wonderful novels.
There are three novels in the series. The Kung Fu Master is the third in the sereies.

Basic of the story
At that time, Mongol, under Jeng Kis Khan leading were so powerful. Mongol invaded
China and established Yuen Dynasty. Kwok Cheng (Gua Jin) and Wong Yong (Huang Rong)were a couple,
hero and heroine, who fought against Mongol. ( Their story is in the first and second novels, "Eagle shooting hero" and "The condor hero".)They got a secret powerful Kung Fu scroll, the great lunar stance and a important millitary strategy scroll (Yu Fei's strategy scroll).
Before they died, they made two swords, To-Long and Yi Tien swords. (The powerful swords that the nun used in the movie)
Everybody tried to find the To Long sword because the rumor that they could rule the world of martial art by getting the great lunar stance.
There were two camps, one include Shaolin, Wu Tung, Ngo Mai, Kun Lun Tong, Wha-Shan sects,
the other was Ming sects.
Characters: Names in Cantonese as they are subtitle in the movie. (Names in Mandarin)
Chang Mo Kei (Zhang Wu Ji): Jet Li (Li Lian Jie)
Chang San Fong (Zhang Zan Feng): Sammo Hung
Cho Min (Zhao Min): Cheung Man
Siu Chiu (Xiao Zhao): Chingmy Yao
Chow Chi Yu (Zhuo Zi Ruo): The lady from Ngo Mai who you saw trapping and stabbing Mo Kei in the movie.
Tse Shun (Xia Xun), King of the Gold Lion : Mo Kei's god father
Shing Kwan : Tse Shun's master whom you see as a monk and the one who try to destroy Ming sect
Chu Yuen Chang (Zhu Yuen Zhang): does not have lot of screen time in the movie but is very important.I will tell you why in the story. He is a member of Ming Sect who dressed in black.

The continuation of the story after the movie has ended
As you remember, Cho Min ask Mo Kei for the three promises before she gave him poison antidote.
In the movies, she had already used two promises, when Mo Kei fought with her clan. However
in the book she has not used any of them yet.
Cho Min is a Mongol princess and her duty is to destroy Ming sect ( which has an objective to
destroy Yuen Dynasty and free China). Because Mo Kei became a leader of Ming sect, he would be
her enemy. However, she fell in love with him. Because they supposed to be enemy she had no
reason to be with him.So she made the story up. She asked for the first promise to see the To Lung
swords. She has no intention to take the swords but told her father that shie would do it.
The To Lung swords is with Mo Kei's god father at the ice and fire island. Mo Kei, Cho Min,Siu Chiu,
Chow Chi Yu and Mo Kei's female cousin(not mention in the movie) went to the island.
All of these ladies love him. However, Mo Kei seem to love Siu Chiu. During , the sea adventure,
they met the Persians Army who came to find a lost princess and a stolen Magic stance scroll.
Eventhough, Mo Kei had a powerfull Kung Fu he could not fight the whole army and was injured.
Siu Chiu who indeed the lost Persian Princess revealed herself to save Mo Kei.
However , she was forced to go back to Persia or Mo Kei would be killed.
After Siu Chiu leaving, Mo Kei seem to get along with Cho Min very well, because she understood
him. This made Chow Chi Yu felt jealous. She stole the To Lung swords, kill Mo Kei's female cousin
and contacted Shing Kwan to secretly arrest The King of Gold Lion. All of the things that she had done
she blamed Cho Min.Because Cho Min was a Mongol princess no one in Ming sect or Wu Tong trusted her.
Mo Kei did not want to believe that it was Cho Min fault but he could not argue with with the evidence.
He thought that Cho Min killed his cousin because of her jealousy and stole the swords for her father.
He could not forgive her.
Chang San Fong wanted Mo Kei to marry Chow Chi Yu. He agreed, trying to prevent himself from falling
in love with Cho Min.By the meantimes, Chow Chi Yu destroyed both swords and got the lunar stance
scroll. She became more powerful. On Mo Kei's wedding day. Cho Min came and asked for the second promise,
not to marry Chow Chi Yu, that day.He postpone his wedding, keeping his promise. However , he told
Cho Min that he will marry Chow Chi Yu later.
Chow Chi Yu injured Cho Min and made Mo Kei wonder why she had such a power. Cho Min told Mo Kei
that she knew where his god father was.He was in a prison in Shaolin, controlled by Shing Kwan.
They went to rescued the king og gold lion and Mo Kei learned that Cho Min was innocent.
Shing Kwan was killed.
Chow Chi Yu felt guilty and became a nun at Ngo Mai. She gave the military strategy scroll to Mo Kei.
Yuen Dynasty sent its army to destroy shaolin temple and Ming Sect. Cho Min, by helping Mo Kei
protecting the temple, became a traitor for her nation. Mo Kei knew that Cho Min sacrificed herself for
him and really felt in love her. There was no way that Ming Sect would accept Cho Min( like in fist of
legend,ha...) At the end Mo Kei leave the Ming Sect to be with Cho Min. And she leave her palace to
be with him.
The third promise was, asking him to marry her.
He kept his promise.

P.S
Mo Kei gave the military strategy scroll to the sect. Chu Yuen Chang became the sect leader. Because
of his ambition, Ming sect army freed China from Mongol (Yuen dynasty) and established Ming Dynasty.
Chu Yuen Chang was the first king of Ming dynasty.
